Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is a typical Sunday service like?
A. Typically, our services last about an hour and thirty minutes. We begin with an energetic time of praise and worship, led by our worship leader, vocalists and a full band. Worship lasts about 30 minutes. Often, during our worship, we have a time for individuals to receive prayer and ministry. After the singing and ministry, our Pastor or the speaker for the day will receive the offering and preach the sermon. At CLC, you can always expect to encounter God as we worship and be challenged and inspired by the messages.

Q. What kind of childcare is offered during your services?
A. We offer care for babies and children up to 5 years old for the duration of our services. We also have classes following the worship time for those in 1st through 8th grade. Our dedicated members make each week a memorable, loving, learning experience for your child.

Q. What is the style of music at CLC?
A. Our style can be described as "contemporary worship." We simply want to honor God with all that we have, together. Many people comment on our praise and worship as being one of the first things that drew them to CLC. You'll find a mix of popular worship songs from a variety of styles. It is our desire is to give the Lord what He deserves -- our honest, heartfelt praise.

Q. What forms of worship should I expect to see?
A. The Bible encourages the believer to praise the Lord with a loud voice. When believers are touched by the Lord many will pray and thank God audibly during times of corporate thanksgiving, prayer and praise. Others may pray silently expressing little outward emotion. Some may even be led to bow or kneel before Him. All forms of expression of devotion are encouraged as long as they are sincere and done decently and in order. Psalm 100:1-2; Revelation 19:1,6

Q. Do you pray for the sick?
A. We are admonished to call for the elders to anoint with oil and pray for the sick. James 5:14-15 So yes we do!
